FAQ'S
Frequently Asked Questions
What type of 3D printing services do you offer?
We offer FDM and Resin (SLA) 3D printing for prototypes, mechanical parts, robotics components, architectural models, miniatures, and custom designs.
Can you print custom parts based on my design?
Yes. You can send STL, STEP, OBJ, or CAD files, and we will print exactly as required. We also offer design assistance if needed.
What materials do you use for 3D printing?
We print using PLA, ABS, PETG, Resin, TPU (flexible), Nylon, and Carbon-Fiber reinforced materials suitable for engineering and industrial use.
How long does a project take?
Small prints finish within 24–48 hours. Larger or complex projects may take 3–7 days depending on size, detail, and finishing requirements.
Do you offer CAD modelling or design support?
Yes, we provide full CAD modelling services, including creating 3D models from sketches, photos, or ideas. We also optimise your model for printing.
Can you develop prototypes for robotics or automation systems?
Absolutely. We specialise in functional parts such as gears, brackets, sensor housings, joints, and robotic arm components.
Do you work with aeronautical and defence industries?
Yes, we create high-precision prototypes for UAVs, drone frames, aerodynamic testing, defence equipment housings, and structural components.
Do you make architectural or civil engineering models?
We produce scale models for buildings, bridges, site layouts, and infrastructure designs to help engineers and architects visualise their projects.
Can you print replacement parts or industrial components?
Yes. We offer reverse engineering, redesign, and custom replacement parts for machinery, tools, and industrial systems.
What is the maximum print size you can handle?
We support both small detailed models and large-format prints. For oversized parts, we can split and assemble prints seamlessly.
Do you offer bulk printing or long-term contracts?
Yes. We provide bulk printing for businesses and ongoing production contracts for companies requiring regular 3D-printed parts.
TESTIMONIALS
repeatability, and confidentiality are non-negotiable.
Defence & Aerospace Voxel Veda’s ability to prototype complex geometries with consistent mechanical performance allowed us to validate designs earlier than planned. Their engineering feedback was as valuable as the parts themselves.
Medical Devices
Their additive manufacturing capability enabled rapid iteration undertight dimensional and material constraints. Documentation and traceability were handled professionally throughout.
Automotive
From concept fixtures to functional prototypes, Voxel Veda delivered repeatable quality suitable for real-world testing. Lead times were significantly shorter than traditional suppliers.
Voxel Veda is an Australia-based engineering and additive manufacturing studio specialising in precision prototyping, reverse engineering, and low-volume production for regulated and high-reliability industries.
We operate with controlled workflows, application-driven material selection, and engineering-led execution.
